North Davidson Indoor Soccer will begin its fourth season of Futsal' this winter.  Organized by North Davidson High School men's coach Greg Beall, this league is the perfect place to keep your team's or child's skills sharp in increase their speed of play.

Divisions are typically U8, U10, U12, U15, U18.  Teams are usually co-ed but male or female teams registering together will be kept together.

Futsal is a sport that is a derivative of soccer and played with 5-man teams (6 for U10 & U12) on a basketball court, using no walls and a low bouncing ball that puts the emphasis on ball control, unlike the traditional U.S. indoor soccer played with walls and a bouncy ball.  Great soccer superstars such as Ronaldinho, C Ronaldo, and Thierry Henry grew up playing the game and credit Futsal with developing their skills.

League is TFF…Totally For Fun!  No practices, no official standings.  Just the opportunity to keep your foot on the ball and have a ton of fun! 

League is co-ed, levels range from beginner players to classic level.  Last year all games were played on Sunday afternoons but, depending on gym availability,  we have played on Saturday evening at times and have also had a rare Sunday morning game .

The season will run from 1/4/09 - 2/22/09 and will be in gyms in the North Davidson area.  Registration is $50.00 per player and is due by November 21.  Space is limited and will be filled on a first-come basis.  Teams wishing to play together should send in their registrations together and indicate such.
